Mocha was OK but the chocolate seemed to dominate. The coffee taste needed to be stronger. Date scone was OK too. Cabinet food looked great but we weren't there for lunch. We'll go back another day to taste that food. There is a breakfast and lunch menu card. (See pictures).A new outside area is nearly open. Part of it will have a roof. Could be just right for the coming summer. Sign on door says they close at 3pm but on a previous occasion we could buy only takeaway coffee before 2:30pm and all the chairs were on tables ready for floor cleaning.

Ngawai Horotini

Lovely Cafe in the township of Te Kauwhata. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Venue was comfortable for outside dining. Would definitely stop in again.

Having just moved into the area having Jack's nearby allows me to enjoy good coffee and a bite to eat. I had the ham and tomato quiche on this occasion and it was delicious. With a nice relish which you always need with quiche. Staff are always friendly and the coffee is always hot and strong
